Privacy policy
This page explains what data this site collects, why, on what legal basis, and what you can do about it.
Who is responsible
The controller for this site is Jiří Karafiát, Pelhřimov, Czech Republic, business ID 88600386. Questions about your data go to [email protected].
What we collect
- Traffic statistics (pages viewed, approximate region, device type, referrer), through cookies or similar technology.
- Advertising data, if Google AdSense is enabled — Google may set its own cookies and identifiers.
- Affiliate click data — when you follow a link to an exchange or wallet, that provider may record the referral.
- Anything you send us voluntarily by email (your address and the content of your message).
This site has no user accounts, no registration and no newsletter. We do not ask for your name, address, payment details or identity documents, and we never see your wallet keys.
Why, and on what legal basis
- Essential operation of the site — legitimate interest in delivering the pages you request.
- Analytics and advertising — only with your consent, given through the cookie banner and withdrawable at any time.
- Answering your email — legitimate interest in replying to the message you sent.
Third parties
Google (AdSense and, where enabled, Analytics) processes data as an independent controller under its own policies. Exchanges, wallets and other services you reach through our links are separate companies with their own privacy policies — read them before you sign up. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Advertising in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
Personalised advertising in these regions requires your consent, collected through a Google-certified consent management platform. If you decline, you may still see ads, but non-personalised ones.
How long data is kept
Aggregated traffic statistics are retained for up to 26 months. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to deal with the matter and then deleted. Cookie lifetimes are set by the provider that placed them — you can clear them in your browser at any time.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Consent can be withdrawn at any time without affecting what happened before. Write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your national data-protection authority.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the update date at the top of the page changes with it.
